Festive Paper Stars

These stars are so lovely to make. They look so sweet hanging up. You can use any kind of paper, wallpaper, card, old book pages, anything you wish!

We had fun painting some paper in rainbow colours.

What you will need;

• Paper 

• Glue 

• Paints / glitter if you wish to paint and decorate paper

• Scissors 

• Twine

Start by taking two pieces of paper which are the same size. You can experiment and make a few different sizes. 

Accordion fold your paper.

Have a play! We folded some thick and some thin for a variety of sizes!

Fold each piece in two, and tie them together in the middle with your twine. Leave a nice long piece of twine as this will be your hanger too.

Once tied, cut the ends into a point, maybe a little neater than mine!

Unfurl the edges and glue the flat sides together.

Ta da! You have your lovely Christmas star!

I think these also make lovely birthday decorations too.
